So when is a good time for a garage sale in the Duluth/Superior area?
- Most weekends early May, through late October
- Avoiding Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor day. People usually have other plans than check out sales
- Park Point is the 2nd weekend in June, If you live there, thats pretty much the only time to have a sale there, if you don't, maybe consider a different weekend.
- Most sales are 8am or 9am to 2pm or 3pm, Fri/Sat. Evening sales 4 to 8pm on Thurs/Fri are pretty common too
- Please be open a minimum of 4 hours - its tough to make it to a 9 to 11am sale
- Thu & Sun sales do happen, but traffic is a lot less. Mon/Tue/Wed sales almost never happen
- Please post your sale online by noon the day before. If you don't want early birds, something like "54XX Maple Grove road" works good - we'll see your sign by the road when you open
